Korean Drama Masterlist

Being able to start my asian drama blog this year had been a dream come true for me. I have been watching asian dramas since I was a child (Chinese dramas without translations!), but somehow my first Korean drama had opened up an entirely new world for me. Autumn in My Heart broke my heart and I felt grief that I have never felt before. I had not realized how profoundly a television show could affect my emotions, but it did! I was engaged by the storytelling and marvelled at the beautiful images on my screen.

Years later, I've watched more than a hundred Korean dramas, each leaving a memorable impression on me, though I recall some more fondly than others. For me, these Korean dramas are not just shows I consume. They were companions in the many phases of my life, and most importantly, they have brought comfort, laughter, hope, and warmth during particularly difficult moments. I only wish I had started this blog earlier to share my thoughts on each of these series. For now, all I can do is curate them into one masterlist.
